Hazel and Fern is a collaboration between Louise Eyles and Amanda Bradford. We bring two creative minds to your project, as two minds are always better than one.

Brought together by a love of creating beautiful outdoor spaces inspired by nature to enhance people’s lives.  We design gardens that are practical as well as having all-year round planting interest and providing a haven for wildlife and pollinators. We understand how vital soil health is to overall garden health and are passionate about sustainability and caring for the environment. We believe in using organic gardening techniques and the no dig method where appropriate.

Louise has a background in Engineering Construction having undertaken a Civil Engineering Degree. Amanda has a background in Environmental Consultancy have also completed a degree in the same field. These earlier careers have informed our work ethic, communication and professional approach to garden design consultancy. We believe in working closely with clients to develop a garden that compliments their home and style.

We have both retrained in Garden Design at the well-respected Capel Manor College in Enfield, London.

We can advise clients on a range of projects, from regular garden maintenance to design of a problem area or bed to a complete redesign scheme for your entire garden.

We having been working on a number of gardens over the last year and would be happy to provide references upon request.

We cover Berkhamsted, Tring and the surrounding villages.
